aBOUT The Club

Canisius Women's Club Volleyball is a great way for students to build their volleyball skills.  Whether that be competitively or recreationally, Club Volleyball is a great outlet for all students to connect and bond through sport. Our competitive team competes in the Second Division of the Northeastern Women's Club Volleyball League, and participates in numerous non league tournaments with nearby collegiate teams throughout the year.

Lucy Hager

Senior/Middle Hitter

Prior to Canisius I had never stepped foot on a volleyball court, though I lettered in three sports in High School. As a first semester freshman who thought my time as an athlete had concluded, I took a leap and tried out for the Women's Club Volleyball Team. The team offered everything I was looking for, a competitive edge, team atmosphere, and a love for the sport. Four years later, as a senior and president I am lucky to call myself an athlete again and even luckier to do so as a Golden Griffin.
