aBOUT The Club

Canisius College Men’s Club Soccer allow students the opportunity to play at a competitive level, while still having time to pursue other activities on campus.  Club Soccer brings together all students who enjoy the game of soccer. Competing in the NIRSA Championship Region 1 in the Lake Erie/Ontario Division, our club soccer team competes against schools all over the state. Along with weekend tournaments and weekly practices Club Soccer is a fantastic opportunity for students of all skill levels to meet like minded individuals. 

Meet the Coach

Derek Colburn

Derek is joining the Canisius Men's Club Soccer program of the 2023-2024 season. Graduating form SUNY Brockport in 2021 Derek was the President of their Men's Club Soccer team for 3 years. Leading them to one NIRSA Region 1, Lake Erie/Ontario Division Championship and a trip to the regional tournament. Derek is excited to bring a new excitement and energy to the club program and looks to repeat his success at Canisius.
