aBOUT The Club
Canisius Men's Club Volleyball is a great way for students to build their volleyball skills. Whether that be competitively or recreationally, Club Volleyball is a great outlet for all students to connect and bond through sport. Our competitive team currently ranks #2 in the state competes in the Eastern Collegiate Volleyball Conference (ECVA) of the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF), and participates in numerous non league tournaments with nearby collegiate teams throughout the year.

Sophomore/Middle
I have been playing volleyball since middle school, so I certainly know the sport well. My first year at Canisius, I was disappointed when I heard that the Men's Club Volleyball team had disbanded and never made a return after COVID. Not knowing anyone at the time, I just played junior club outside of school because I still had one more year of eligibility. In the fall of 2022, I met another Canisius student who plays volleyball, and he recommended that we begin to work towards starting the team back up, so I did just that. After recruiting by some word of mouth and a ton of flyers, we were able to put together a roster of 14 players. Since that time, I have been working very hard to make sure we have the best volleyball experience possible!
